The case of bank “Slovyansky”:

The biggest and the most famous economical criminal case during all the history of independent Ukraine, the best forces of tax militia and public prosecution prosecuted the bank; the case was under the personal control of ex-president of Ukraine L. Kuchma, according to the statement of tax militia it was the most massive case of money-laundering in the world. As a result the main bank’s stockholder and defendant Boris Feldman, having been defended by V. Ageyev, among 8 charges was pleaded guilty only under one. At that the court appointed the punishment below the lowest level of the fixed by the appropriate article of the criminal code, it was admitted that B. Feldman had caused no material damage, and his detainment during the pre-trial investigation was plead to be illegal.

Defense of the advocate A. Fedur:

A. Fedur is the most popular Ukrainian advocate; he takes part or took part almost in all noted political judicial proceedings in Ukraine (Gongadze case, case of the bank “Slovyansky”, case of P. Lazarenko and many others). He was subjected to prosecutions because of his advocacy, criminal case with the accusation in swindling and documents' falsification were instituted against him. Ageyev. In the course of prejudicial inquiry all requirements of applicants were satisfied and they received the proper moneyed disbursement from the state.

Case of internet-edition Оbkom.net:

During the regime of L.Kuchma the Internet-edition was subjected to persecution because of the criticism of the authority. The criminal proceeding about the money-laundering was instituted by means of which the activity of the edition was locked. The representation of the interests of Ltd “Оbkom” was performed by the advocate V. Ageyev. As a result the activity of the edition was renewed, the criminal case was dismissed.
